some things that i watched recently that’s really cool and everyone should watch them

well, i haven’t read a lot but i sure did watch a lot of entertainment (is there a causality between watching too much tv and being less articulate??).

the sequence is based on what came to my mind first; so, not chronologically or likability:

  • Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs the Reverend: honestly ive seen so much recommendations about the series but never watched it but also honestly i watched this because it was an interactive special. i watched it about 4 times now, and i think i’ve probably hit everything possible by now
  • which of course leads to the series, and i finished all of it and i would rewatch it. this is officially the weirdest show ive ever watched. and also because of this i was briefly reminded of real cases about people being kept in a bunker and i was pretty obsessed with it. not gonna link those scary stuff cos this is a happy post
  • two weeks ago i was in beautiful Freiburg again (fav German city) and was very delighted to find out that the new German series is also set in Freiburg! :DDDD i actually recognise most of the places and so please watch this for the sceneries. the plot is quite good too but imho i think it couldve ended in one season. really cool biotechnology stuff though.
  • currently obsessed with the Teenage Bounty Hunters. was really intrigued at the beginning because of “bounty hunters” cos i once read a novel about bounty hunters and it was one of the coolest books ive ever read. and also, the executive producer wrote OitNB, so hell yeah this is gonna be good. and it’s sooooo good. and so so funny and i hope that Netflix will renew it. i promise that im not just a sucker for #Stepril but also the plot, cmon NETFLIXXXXX!
  • been very interested in Knives Out because of the cast and genre. not disappointed. was actually annoyed by Blanc’s accent but apparently that was on purpose, so, wowwwwwwww.

hahahaha well my brain automatically sorted it by completion dates

thursday. Aachen. it’s the cold week.

and i caught a cold. zzz.

Upload on Amazon Prime. this is so so great though it feels like a combination of the best Black Mirror episodes. Think San Junipero, Nosedive…but i’m watching it for the second time. can’t wait for season 2!

and ive been rewatching Big bang Theory cos i couldn’t find any cool new comedies

CURRENTLY WATCHING

la case de las flores. The House of Flowers. it’s a Mexican comedy which is sometimes quite dark. but oh it’s so good hahahahaa

tuesday. sunnyyyyyyyyy. hi.

oh wow so ive disappeared for a few days cos ive been plagued (again) with crazy allergy and also i was making a bunch of calls to people who are half an Earth away. ive also watched a lot of TV #guiltyascharged

but i’ve also been writing physical letters so that one day, when someone asks me what i did during the war against the coronavirus, i could say: “i had to resort to writing snail mails (which actually isn’t very snail-ey in Germany) and in each i wrote ‘i hope that things will be normal again soon, and that we can see each other again soon’.”

what’s new on Netflix this week! so excited to see that Molly’s Game will be up! i watched it through halfway last year on the flight back to Malaysia from Amsterdam (a whopping 11hour flight) but cos i intentionally exhausted myself in the week leading to the flight, i slept a lot on the plane and couldn’t even finish one movie lol. oh and la casa de papel! yesssss.

there’s a new entertainment platform called Quibi which is designed for the phone (whatever that means) and they are releasing Anna Kendrick’s comedy… #takemymoney

“tech projects to do instead of watching Netflix” lol this should be retitled as “how to organise your digital life during this lockdown”. but the bits about Raspberry Pi and repurposing old tech are technically projects. would love to do some Linux programming but oops too late, university starts again online next week ahahahahhaa

for people who want to watch online content virtually
